- Gerry BurtDirector of OperationsGerry BurtDirector of Operations
Gerry Burt is the Director of Operations at Baymeadows, Tinseltown, and Forever Vets Animal Hospitals. She was born in Jacksonville, NC in a pet loving family. She lived in a few different states and finally settled in Jacksonville, FL. Gerry's love and compassion towards animals made her pursue the career in the animal world. She started working as a Veterinary Assistant at Banfield Pet Hospital after moving to Florida, which was her first position in a veterinary career. Quickly, she realized that there is nothing more rewarding than keeping the pets healthy and the clients happy. In April of 2012, she became employed at Baymeadows Animal Hospital, where she started off as a Lead Technician. Gerry has never limited herself to her job, hence playing a critical role in developing the hospital in such a short period of time. After much hard work and dedication, she was promoted as a Practice Manager. After becoming crucial part of the hospitals, Gerry accepted the role as Director of Operations, in which she oversees the hospitals’ management and keeps the core values intact. Gerry loves every second of her job and the fulfillment of seeing all her clients and employees happy. She has been married for 9 years to her high school sweetheart and is a proud mother of her 8-year-old son. She lives with two of her spoiled cats Menace and Mittens. She always says, "I could never imagine herself in any other profession or any other practice.”

- Charleen DavilaReceptionistCharleen DavilaReceptionist
Charleen was raised in a small town in North Carolina but is originally from Puerto Rico. She has a wonderful fiancé and a handsome, caring one-year-old blue brindle Pitbull, Zeus. She spends most of her time at the beach with Zeus when she’s not in the hospital having fun with her furry friends! Working at the hospital is an amazing opportunity and experience that Charleen is thankful to have been given.
- Amber RicheyReceptionistAmber RicheyReceptionist
Amber was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. She went to school for child psychology and forensic science, but always found herself working with pets. She has a husband of ten years who she has been with for a total of 18 years. Together, they have a daughter, Ava, two 8-year-old boys, and her son, Jaxon. They also have a labradoodle, Hampton. The boys have been wrecking the house together for as long as they have been alive. When they’re not home, you will find Hampton's face pressed against the front window, passing his time by scaring anyone who passes by the house. When they aren't busy with Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, dance class, gymnastics and play dates, they actually enjoy the peace and quiet of just being home together, even if we they are all in their separate spaces. Amber hopes to one day further her career in the Veterinary field. As for now, she is very happy being a part of the Tinseltown family as a receptionist and having time to spend with her family, enjoying all there is to having young children.

She is originally from Michigan, but moved to Florida to give her family a better life. Vanesa has two amazing kids and will soon be marrying the love of her life! Tinseltown Animal Hospital really has become a second family to Vanesa and she is forever grateful that this company has given her such an amazing opportunity to be a part of it.

He has passion, dedication, and pride in his work, since first entering the veterinary industry in 2005. While Carl currently does not have any pets, he’s grown up around animals his whole life. Plus, he treats and cares for all his patients as if they were his own. His job isn’t always easy at times, and brings many challenges with it, but there's no greater feeling than being part a pet's health and seeing our clients' smiles as a result. Along with animals, his other interests consist of food, sports, music and comedy!
